Hey Everybody!! I just got a sweet box filled with a few new 510 threaded batteries from Exxus Vape! Everything from auto draw to variable voltage, if you're into vaping a-la-cart (get it?!) then you've got to watch this video!!
Da Buddha Vape is from 7th Floor Vapes ( 7thfloorvapes.com ), they are an outfit out of Colorado so they may know a thing or two about the weed game. 7th Floor produces a nice line of high performance vapes, mostly plug in, and the Da Buddha and it's big brother, the Silver Surfer, seem to be the most popular. Both are simple to use, whip style vapes with the latter having a bit of an artistic edge over the former. Since I'm in Canada, I purchased mine from vaporizers.ca
The design of the Duo is amazing.... I had seen pictures of it but when I took it out of the box it was waaaaay smaller than I had anticipated. Like half the size of a standard boxmod. One of the features I really like is the magnetic face plate, it's so seamless that it actually had me trying to figure out where everything was!
The Wolf SLK is an awesome little $20 grab-and-go vape! I'd almost call it disposable but it makes a handy back up to your back up! The Wolf SLK is really pretty simple, variable volt slimline battery, single quartz coil.... pretty standard stuff, but it's $20 price tag make it great to take with with you anywhere you don/t want to take your main piece. And from the looks of the packaging, I'd expect to see this retailed in dispensaries, headshops, cannabis festivals and outdoor concerts.
The Sutra Selfie comes to us from Sutra Vape and is made exclusively for concentrates. Specifically, ones that are either preloaded or can be loaded into a cartomizer style atomizer (these are typically thinner oils). Think of the selfie as a vape pen battery in a different shape and you'll understand. The appearance is similar to the original Exxus Snap with a few differences.... first, the outter shell has gone from metal to plastic and two, no buttons and no controls as this is an auto draw device!
Flavour wise these were fantastic! These were the Sherbert flavour and they were fantastic! Kind of a cross between cherry and vanilla… and the texture was fantastic! Pillowy little gummy squares! As for effects…. I was rocked! Three of these were 240mg and even though this was distillate, once you start cresting 200mg it all gets pretty heavy!!
Mango Space Bears are cannabis infused gummy bears. They come 15 to a pack, and are 10mg each for a total of 150mg per package. This is a nice set up because you can really break down doses based on your tolerance. The bears are infused with an MTC oil and present zero cannabis smell and flavour.... they DO however have the most mango-y mango smell and flavour that has ever been mangoed! If you love mangos, this is your jam! Mango jam! I'm high right now.
The Peanut Crunch Bar is your classic chocolate and peanut chocolate bar. The dimensions are roughly the same as a Crunch Bar but with peanuts instead of rice crisps. For packaging we have a simple cellophane wrapper with and label, while nothing fancy it does contain all the necessary information. The chocolate however, is the real star..... Frink uses premium milk chocolate for the base that is rich and smooth and the peanuts had a dry roast vibe to them!
For today's review I prepared a three course meal... bead and oil, leafy greens and pesto over spaghetti squash, and I used a different oil for each!! Dosing is super simple with Exotic Leaf, one tablespoon is 30mg and a teaspoon is 10mg. If you want to go a little light then you can always off set you in fused olive oil with regular. Super simple!!
Each package contains 165mg dispersed over four pieces so that's around 40mg's a piece and most people will want to start with one or two pieces. These are infused with THC distillate so there isn't any cannabis smell or flavour and for me, that means there is less of a muscle relaxation / couch lock and more of good feeling / creative / inspired / wellness feeling. Ganjatarian Edibles does do custom orders as well and can add or beef up CBD levels or even switch to a full spectrum RSO if that's your jam.
Typically, I have to do a little research and prep for my strain reviews. I refer to Leafly, Lift and various other cannabis journals to find out what the desired expression of a particular flower and include that information into the review.... with Sesh, they've done a lot of the heavy lifting for me!! The packaging includes everything - from a fancy description of the flower, potency and lineage, to flavours, effects and other details. Very impressive!!
I got my first X Max v2 back in 2015 and I still use it today!! This is one of the great things about a vape with a replaceable battery... longevity! The new one I received in the mail is even nicer as it has a slightly updated control and new glass accessories (extra). The updated controls are simple... click three times to turn on and hold button for two seconds to advance temperature through the five preset levels. This is a conduction vaporizer with a fairly large ceramic chamber. Flavour on the x-max is great likely due to the fact it makes use of an isolated air intake with lots of venting.
